TAPER BURNISHING TOOLS

INTERNAL TAPER BURNISHING Size range - Min dia 10 mm onwards These are used in valve seating and pipe fittings for better and leak proof surface seating. EXTERNAL TAPER BURNISHING Size range - minimum dia 3 mm onwards These are used in Valve Plugs and other tapered pins or shafts. While doing internal or external taper burnishing , care should be taken to maintain taper angle of the component in pre burnishing operation otherwise burnishing may be in patches. The tools are pf plunged type and hence not to be oversqueezed.
